Your child’s birthday party isn’t just any kind of party. Meaning this event needs to have a unique setting, fun theme and pre-thought out activities! Check out our favorite places below!
Incrediplex
First of all, I cannot believe that I did not know this existed until recently! Incrediplex is pretty much everything a kid would ever want. Activities include: Bounce houses, euro bungy interactives, arcade games, laser tag, bowling,
rock walls, and sports courts/fields. For birthday parties, it has four different packages, depending on the activities your group wants to do. Price specifics related to birthday parties can be found here: http://incrediplex.com/birthday-parties/.
Goldfish Swim School
Personally, I have a January birthday and was always disappointed that I could never have my birthday party at a swimming pool. If only Goldfish Swim School had been around then! The swim school offers two hours of private access to the facility and certified lifeguards to all birthday parties. It even has a private event space to celebrate your little guy or girl’s special day. Details can be found here: https://www.goldfishswimschool.com/programs/parties/.
Gymboree Play & Music
Not to keep bringing up myself, but when I was younger, I had a birthday party at Gymboree. That is why it is a bit wild to me that they are still hosting parties all of these years later. Gymboree parties can center on a variety of themes including “ocean adventure,” “construction zone,” and “princess playhouse.” Needless to say, there would be something for everyone. Prices and locations do vary, so be sure to check their website for specifics: https://www.gymboreeclasses.com/en/parties/.
Darling Divas Kids Spa
I think it is safe to assume that most little girls would love to be a princess. At Darling Divas Kids Spa, they make that dream a reality. According to the Darling Divas Kids Spa website, the Spa is a “novelty spa-rty venue for girls ages 5 and up.” Party packages include: Diva For a Day, Just the Two of Us, Spa Party Packages, the Tea Party Package, and many more. Specific packages can be found here:
The Tie Dye Lab
Let’s be honest, everyone loves to tie dye but there is always the added hassle of all the cleanup and the potential for stains. That is where the Tie Dye Lab steps in and alleviates all those concerns. Guests get to tie dye in the Lab’s fully stocked facility and the Lab washes all the items so you don’t have to! Of course, it also host birthday parties (or else they would not be on this list). Details of their parties can be found here: https://thetiedyelab.com/birthday-parties/.
Cirque Indy
Thought the circus was no more? Think again! Cirque Indy is a studio space just off of Massachusetts Avenue (better known as Mass Ave) that is alive and thriving today. Cirque indy is, “Indy’s one and only circus school, specializing in aerial circus arts.” Too cool right? While they have many classes throughout the year, they also host birthday parties. Details can be found on their website here: http://www.cirqueindy.com/parties/
Tina’s Traditional Tea Room
What could be better than a cup of English Breakfast tea and a scone? Honestly, I don’t have an answer. Tina’s Traditional Tea Room is the epitome of a child’s dream birthday party. It offers several different room options and can host parties in its Columbus or Carmel locations. You can also order a special birthday cake in advance and have it made in-house by Tina’s fabulous bakers. All the details can be found here:
It’s a Block Party
First of all, I think we could all agree that this is the cleverest name on the list for sure given that they work with Legos all day. At It’s a Block Party, birthday-goers can design their own Lego minifigures and can play many Lego-related games. This fantastic birthday party option can occur at either the It’s a Block Party store or at a location of your choosing. Details of this unique birthday bash can be found here:
Paint It! Kids
While there are many amazing painting classes in the Indy area, we love Paint it! Kids. At Paint it! Kids, each “painter” will get to paint along with the instructor, creating their own special painting. Similar to It’s a Block Party, birthday parties can be hosted in Paint it! Kids studio space or at a location of your choosing. This really is the perfect birthday experience for any budding young artist. Details can be found here
